Never moving far from massive tunes the legendary Positiva unleash their latest gem in the name of ‘Blue Water’. The original has that flowing vibe and has radio and club written all over it. The light electronic ‘skank’ throughout the original mix is topped with a vocal that I first thought was Lisa Stansfield but am now clear is courtesy of Debra Andrew…

Not a complicated track in the least, and that’s what makes it so appealing – it’s very easy to get your head around and is beautifully structured.. Fast in pace but perfectly filled with plenty of melodic goodness that allows it to be easy on the ear, rather than noisy and predictable.

“This has been in a lot of DJ’s record boxes for ages now and it is one of those really rare crossover tracks. It’s getting played by a whole cross section of DJ’s at a wide variety of clubs and it’s finally crossing over onto daytime radio shows. It has a gorgeous vocal and some pretty sexy, laid back production, which brings to mind summer Saturday nights and ice cold beer. It’s now got some stomping trance mixes and some funkier versions for people with more sensitive ears. This should be another big hit for Positiva.”
